Description
We love this wonderful Green Sea Turtle painting by Nadine Lahti. She told us she was inspired by a photograph she took while snorkeling off of Hen and Chickens coral reef in the Upper Florida Keys. “Honu” is Hawiian and means sea turtle, and “Aloha” in Hawaiian means hello, but it also has a deeper meaning, with love. Thus, the name means “The Love of Turtles” or “I Love Turtles”. We love the coral reef she painted in such detail. We also love the turtle framed print, very detailed and realistic, almost like a photo. She told us it was originally painted this scene on canvas and then made into this lovely print. Now we framed it in our Lobster Trap Frames.
We actually produce and print all our prints, like this one, at our gallery in Islamorda. It is in the heart of the Florida Keys. We use only Epson archival inks and Epson printers to produce this giclee on matte paper. We use these inks and printers to assure we give you, our customers, the best possible print that will not fade or peel in time. This turtle print we framed is very vivid in color and it will remain that way for years to come.
LOBSTER TRAP FRAMES
We frame all our prints in our unique Lobster Trap Frames. The frame we used for this Green Sea turtle framed print is our Double Slat frame. We make this frame with two slats of loster wood and then put a window box around where the image is. When we do this, the window box gives the frame a three dimensional look. We think this turtle framed print looks great in this style of lobster trap wood. The turtle framed print you see here comes in our dark wood finish frame. We use reflective control glass so there is no glare when viewing he image. We then use a heavy duty hanger on the back so it is ready for your wall at home or office.
