"Hemingway Cats"

These are three of the more than 50 cats that live on the famous Hemingway Estate in Old Town Key West. Ernest Hemingway brought these cats from Cuba and they are known for having an extra digit on their paws, like a thumb. The top picture is "Charlie Chaplin", the middle cat is "Ava Gardner", and the bottom cat is "Rita Hayworth". All the cats on the Estate are named after famous movie stars. Nadine has painted several of the cats. These three are my favorites. The prints can be purchased separately in frames or mattes. Nadine, who is the artist, has signed and numbered all the prints. The lobster trap frame they are in has an authentic lobster or stone crab tag on the face of the frame.
