| | One of the many lighthouse paintings done by Glenn. "Alligator Reef Lighthouse" is the first painting of Alligator Reef Glenn has done. In this rendition there are no frigate birds and background clouds. Alligator Reef is located about 3 miles offshore of Islamorada in the Florida Keys. It is a great snorkel, dive, and fishing destination. You can see the lighthouse from the shore. The best viewing location is at Mile Marker 80 by Bud and Mary's Marina. All prints are signed and numbered by Glenn. The frame is hand made from the wood of old lobster traps that have been fished in the Florida Keys. This is one of our double slat frames with a window box. Each frame is a "one of a kind" and unique. The frame has a genuine lobster or stone crab trap certificate on the face which has the fisherman's number and the trap number right on the tag. The rope used is genuine lobster trap rope which is used to pull the traps out of the water. This rope is also used to tie the buoys that show the lobster men where the traps are located. You can choose not to have the rope on the frame. Option is on the right. |
