This is the second time Glenn has painted the famous Alligator Reef Lighthouse. The first original is already sold. We do have prints of the first rendition available. Alligator Reef if just off Islamorada on the ocean side of the island chain. The lighthouse is about 4 miles offshore of the island. The water depth around the lighthouse is only 5 or 6 feet in some places. It is a great dive and snorkle location. Fishing around the lighthouse is also great. Yellowtail, grouper, kingfish, and sailfish, to mention just a few of the species abound in this area. There are usually a few frigate birds hanging around the lighthouse, so Glenn added a couple to the image. Glenn's original is painted on 11 x 14 canvas and framed in the white wash frame is approx. 17.5 x 20.5 inches overall. It comes with an authentic lobster trap tag and will be in the frame pictured. The frame also features authentic lobster trap rope around the window box area. We do have prints in several sizes of this original painting.
